How to sell
We offer two ways to sell your shoes: in store and through the mail.
In store
Bring your shoes and a valid ID to our store. We’ll evaluate them and quote a price. It’s yours to take or leave. There’s no pressure from us either way, but the offer is firm.
By mail
Don’t live in New York? Follow the instructions in our mail-in guide. You’ll take photos of your shoes, we’ll evaluate them and send you a pre-paid shipping label.
Payment
We offer two forms of payment: cash and store credit. The amount we pay varies based on the shoes’ condition and original retail price.
Cash is paid via PayPal on the day we purchase your shoes. Store credit is kept on file and cannot be converted to cash.
All purchases and transactions are final. Please be certain you are ready to part with your shoes.
What we buy
We purchase the brands we stock: Alden, Corthay, Edward Green, Gaziano & Girling, John Lobb, Norman Vilalta, Quoddy, Saint Crispin’s, and Wolverine. Other brands may be accepted at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. If you have a question about a brand, contact us.
We purchase high-quality items in good condition. When going through your closet, ask yourself if you’d purchase the item in its current condition.
We do not accept sneakers, sport or athletic shoes, shoes recrafted by anyone other than the original manufacturer, or shoes that are overly worn.
We buy and price items according to demand, condition, size, and inventory levels. We reserve the right to refuse any item.
